Functionality: Light curtains consist of an array of photoelectric sensors (transmitters and receivers) mounted opposite each other to create a detection field. When the detection field is interrupted by an object or person, the light curtain sends a signal to the machinery control system, causing the machine to stop or halt its motion to prevent accidents.

Principle of Operation: Light curtains operate based on the principle of interruption of light beams. The transmitter emits an array of infrared light beams, and the receiver detects the presence or absence of these beams. When an object passes through the detection field and interrupts one or more beams, the receiver detects this interruption and triggers a safety response.
